During my Umrah visit, I was inspired to paint the Kaaba Shareef. I combined my passion for calligraphy art, love for the Holy Site of Makkah and the Asma al-Husna (99 names of Allah) to paint this unique piece.
"To Him belong the most beautiful names. All that is in the heavens and earth glorify Him." Quran 59:24
 
The painting combines a mixture of calligraphy arts. On the kiswa (black covering of Kaaba) I have used the traditional style of Kufic Arabic Calligraphy to write the 99 names/attributes of Allah. On Bab-e-Kaaba (Door of the Kaaba) and the Gold writing of the kiswa I have used the original Thuluth calligraphy that is used on the Kaaba door itself (See the diagram in the images for guidelines).
